In the above picture, a little boy wearing a mask points to a doctor in full protective suits, saying that “I don't know who you are, but I know who you are for.” This vivid scene reminds me of the word “dedication”. As we all know, with the COVID-19 abruptly breaking out at the beginning of the year _， a great number of medical staffs and volunteers illustrate the meaning of the term “dedication” with their determined actions.
It is these medical workers in the front line who work under difficult conditions that keep us healthy all the time. Therefore, we should pay tribute to all the medical staffs fighting against the epidemic. For example, Zhong Nansha, who is one of the famous medical researchers, took an early active part in the fight against the pandemic though he is 84 years old. He worked hard day and night, just as what he did during SARS in 2003. And another person we should remember is Li Wenliang, who is said to be the first one to issue virus protection warnings to the outside world. Unfortunately, he was also infected and finally dedicated his life during the epidemic outbreak. He is a hero worthy of our heartful salutation. Besides, there are many other medical staffs and volunteers who have contributed in silence to fight against the COVID-19.
To sum up, dedication is a spirit which can make our life more meaningful. We should learn from these unsung national heroes in this smokeless battle and spare no effort to contribute to the stability and development of society.
